## Biography

Victoire Thivisol is a French actress. Born on 6 July 1991, she first gained acclaim at the age of four for the title role in *Ponette* (1996), becoming the youngest recipient of the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival.

She subsequently appeared as the daughter of Juliette Binoche in *The Children of the Century* (1999) and *Chocolat* (2000). In 2007 she was cast in *Les grands s'allongent par terre* (2008); the director, Emmanuel Saget, rewrote the film around her character. Her other credits include the television film *Le bal des célibataires* (2005).
