## Biography

Victoria Furuya is a production designer and interdisciplinary artist. She is a Japanese-Italian-Canadian BFA graduate of Capilano University and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.

Furuya works at the intersection of production design and floristry, informed by Sogetsu Ikebana. Her film credits include production design on the 2023 short *Bloom* and on Sophy Romvari’s debut feature *Blue Heron* (2025), a Telefilm Canada-funded drama set in the 1990s.
