Vim Shanmugam is a producer and writer working primarily in television. Based in Los Angeles and Chicago, he is a University of Southern California alumnus with a background in developmental programming. He has collaborated with various filmmakers, production companies and networks on pilots and series.

His writing credits include episodes of the series *Believe* (2014), *The Mysteries of Laura* (2014), *The League* (2009–2014), *Shahs of Sunset* (2012–2013) and several other scripted and reality programmes. As a producer he has worked on shows such as *Revolution* (2012–2014), *Hollywood Game Night* (2013–2014) and *Top Chef Masters* (2009–2011).
