## Biography

Vincent Klyn (born Vincent Klijn) is a New Zealand-born American actor and former professional surfer. Born on 30 June 1960 in New Zealand, he moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, at the age of four and began surfing competitively as a teenager, reaching the top five surfers in the world on the World Wide Surf tour in the mid-1980s.

He made his film debut in Albert Pyun's *Cyborg* (1989) as the villain Fender Tremolo opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme. Klyn appeared in several further Pyun-directed films, including *Bloodmatch* (1991), *Kickboxer 2: The Road Back* (1991), *Dollman* (1991), *Nemesis* (1992) and *Double Dragon* (1994). He played Warchild in Kathryn Bigelow's *Point Break* (1991) and had guest roles on the television series *Baywatch* in the 1990s and 2000s.
