Vincent Lawrence, also credited as Vincent Sargent Lawrence, was an American screenwriter and playwright. Born in Roxbury, Massachusetts, on 20 November 1889, he began his career writing for the stage, with several plays produced on Broadway in the 1920s and 1930s, including *Spring Fever* (1925) and *In Love With Love* (1923).

He later worked in Hollywood, contributing screenplays or other writing credits to films such as *Cleopatra* (1934), *Test Pilot* (1938), *Peter Ibbetson* (1935) and *Gentleman Jim* (1942). Many of his stage works were adapted for the screen. Lawrence died in Corpus Christi, Texas, on 24 November 1946.
