Vincent McEveety (also credited as Vince McEveety) was an American film and television director and producer. Born in Los Angeles in 1929, he began his career as an assistant director in the late 1950s on series including *Zorro* and *The Untouchables* before moving into directing.

He directed six episodes of the original *Star Trek* series (1966) and episodes of *The Fugitive* (1963), as well as numerous other television programmes such as *Gunsmoke*, *Columbo* (for which he also served as producer), *Murder, She Wrote*, *Magnum, P.I.* and *Diagnosis: Murder*. His feature film work included several Walt Disney productions, among them *Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo* (1977) and *Herbie Goes Bananas* (1980). McEveety remained active until 2000 and died in Los Angeles in 2018.
