## Biography

Vincent Palmo Jr. is an American assistant director, screenwriter and producer. He began his career in production roles on films including *The Hudsucker Proxy* (1994) and *Dazed and Confused* (1993), and later worked as a second assistant director on several Robert Rodriguez projects such as *Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams* (2002).

With his wife Holly Gent Palmo he adapted the screenplay for *Me and Orson Welles* (2008), directed by Richard Linklater. He has served as first assistant director and co-producer on multiple Linklater films, including *Before Midnight* (2013) and *Boyhood* (2014). He also co-wrote the screenplay for *Where'd You Go, Bernadette* (2019).
