Vincenzo Licata was an Italian actor and poet. He appeared in *Seduced and Abandoned* (1964), directed by Pietro Germi and filmed in his home town of Sciacca, as Pasquale Profumo, and in *Christ Stopped at Eboli* (1979), directed by Francesco Rosi, as L'Italo-Americano.

Licata was born in Sciacca, Sicily, on 21 June 1906 and died there on 26 January 1996. He published several collections of poetry in Sicilian dialect and wrote lyrics for a song featured in the soundtrack of *Seduced and Abandoned*.
