## Biography

Vinette Robinson is a British actress. She trained at the Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and began her career with early television appearances in the late 1990s.

She is known for her recurring role as Sergeant Sally Donovan in the BBC series *Sherlock* (2010–2014) and as Carly in the film *Boiling Point* (2021), for which she won a British Independent Film Award; she later reprised the role in the associated television series. Other credits include appearances in *Doctor Who* (as Rosa Parks), *Black Mirror*, *The A Word* and *Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker* (2019). Robinson has also worked extensively in theatre, including productions with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
