Violet Dunn was a Canadian actress. Born in Toronto, Ontario, on 28 May 1905, she began her career on Broadway in the 1920s with roles in productions including *Within Four Walls* (1923), *The Whole Town's Talking* (1923), *Hell's Bells* (1925) and *Buckaroo* (1929).

Her film appearances include *Doctors' Wives* (1931) as Lou Roberts and *The Black Camel* (1931) as Anna. She later appeared in the television series *The Doctors* (1963) and as Verla in *Rachel, Rachel* (1968). Dunn was married to director and producer Hamilton MacFadden from 1929 to 1933. She died in New York City on 14 November 1982.
