## Biography

Virginia Cole was an Irish actress. She began her career at the age of seventeen as Concepta Feeney in the RTÉ soap opera *Tolka Row*. She went on to appear in numerous Irish television series and films, including *Wanderly Wagon*, *The Irish R.M.* (1983) as Briget Brickley, *The Clinic*, *The Snapper* (1993) as Doris Burgess, and *Agnes Browne*.

Cole also performed on stage and in RTÉ Radio Drama. She later qualified as a barrister in Dublin. She died on 8 November 2018 in Rathmines, Dublin.
