## Biography

Walt Flanagan is an American actor, comic book artist and podcaster. He is a longtime friend of filmmaker Kevin Smith and appeared in multiple films in the View Askewniverse.

Flanagan is best known for playing four roles in *Clerks* (1994): the Woolen Cap Smoker, the Egg Man, the Offended Customer and the Cat-Admiring Bitter Customer. He later played Fan Boy (Walt Grover) in *Mallrats* (1995), a protestor in *Dogma* (1999), and small parts in *Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back* (2001), *Clerks II* (2006), *Jay and Silent Bob Reboot* (2019) and *Clerks III* (2022).

Outside acting, Flanagan managed Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash comic-book store in Red Bank, New Jersey, co-starred in the AMC reality series *Comic Book Men* (2012–2018) and co-hosts the podcast *Tell 'Em Steve-Dave!* with Bryan Johnson and Brian Quinn. He has also contributed artwork to comic books written by Smith and Johnson.
