Walt Mulconery, also credited as Walter Mulconery, was an American film editor. He began working in the industry as an assistant editor on seven episodes of the television series *Biography* in 1963.

Mulconery's feature editing credits include *Personal Best* (1982), *Flashdance* (1983) and *The Karate Kid* (1984). For *Flashdance*, co-edited with Bud S. Smith, he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing and won a BAFTA Award for Best Editing. He also served as additional editor on the US version of *The Adventures of Milo and Otis* (1986). He directed the documentary *Big Wave* (1984).
