Walter Bacon was an American actor who appeared in numerous films and television series, primarily in uncredited bit and background roles. Born Walter Scott Bacon on 13 May 1891 in Brooklyn, New York, he began working in films in the silent era.

His credits include appearances in *Citizen Kane* (1941), *Psycho* (1960), *To Kill a Mockingbird* (1962) and *The Man Who Knew Too Much* (1956), as well as the 1953 film *The Bigamist* as an attorney. He also featured in television series such as *Gunsmoke*, *The Andy Griffith Show*, *Star Trek* and *Batman*.

Bacon was married to Sybil Bacon and was the father of art director Archie J. Bacon. He died on 7 November 1973 in Hollywood, California.
