Wanda Ventham is an English actress. Born on 5 August 1935 in Brighton, she trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama and began her career in the 1950s.

She has appeared in numerous British television series, including as Colonel Virginia Lake in *UFO* (1970–1971), Pamela Parry in *Only Fools and Horses* (1989–1992), and Mrs Holmes in *Sherlock* (2014–2017). Other credits include roles in *Doctor Who*, *The Avengers*, *Midsomer Murders*, *Coupling* and *Father Brown*. She played Brenda in the 1975 series *The Sweeney*. Her film work includes *Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter* (1973) and *Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie* (2016).

Ventham is married to actor Timothy Carlton. Their son is actor Benedict Cumberbatch.
