## Biography

Wang Chuan is a Taiwanese actress. She made her screen debut as Eldest Sister in Edward Yang’s *A Brighter Summer Day* (1991).

She has appeared in numerous films and television series. Her later credits include the role of Nina’s mother in *Nina Wu* (2019). In 2004 she won the Golden Horse Award for Best Actress for her performance in *Autumn of Blue*.
