Wayne McDaniel is an American actor and former professional basketball player. Born on 8 October 1960 in San Francisco, he played college basketball at Cal State Bakersfield before a twelve-season career in Australia's National Basketball League with the Adelaide 36ers, Geelong Supercats, Newcastle Falcons and Hobart Devils.

McDaniel's screen credits include the role of Museum Person in *Son of the Mask* (2005), Hospital Reporter #3 in *Superman Returns* (2006), Lou McGarrick in *The Sapphires* (2012), Guard at Hospital in the series *Terra Nova* (2011), Ramone in *Terminus* (2015) and Businessman #1 in *2:22* (2017). On stage he played Brother Bob in the 2014 world premiere of the rock musical *The Island of Doctor Moron*.
