## Biography

Wendy Barrie was a British actress. She made her screen debut in 1932 and appeared in several films for London Films, including *The Private Life of Henry VIII* (1933) as Jane Seymour.

She moved to the United States in the mid-1930s and worked in Hollywood films such as *Dead End* (1937) as Kay, *The Hound of the Baskervilles* (1939) as Beryl Stapleton and *Five Came Back* (1939) as Alice Melbourne. Barrie also appeared on television, hosting *The Wendy Barrie Show*, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

She was married to David L. Meyer and died in 1978.
