Wendy Stites is an Australian costume designer and production designer. She has worked extensively with director Peter Weir, her husband since 1966, on films including *Picnic at Hanging Rock* (1975), *Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World* (2003) and *The Way Back* (2010).

For *Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World* she received a BAFTA Award for Best Costume Design and an Academy Award nomination in the same category. Stites has also served as production designer on *Dead Poets Society* (1989) and *Green Card* (1990). She was born in 1949.
