## Biography

Wes Tooke is a screenwriter and producer. He began his career as an editor, feature writer and editorial consultant before moving into film and television.

Tooke wrote the screenplay for the 2019 feature film *Midway* and served as an executive producer on it. He previously worked as a writer and executive producer on the USA Network series *Colony* (2016–2018) and as a co-executive producer on the Amazon series *Jean-Claude Van Johnson* (2016–2017). He also wrote the screenplay for the 2021 documentary feature *The Rescue*.

In addition to screen work, Tooke has written several novels, including the adult novel *Ballpark Blues* (2003) and the young adult novels *Lucky* (2010) and *King of the Mound* (2012). He holds a degree in political economics from Princeton University.
