## Biography

Will Arbery is an American playwright and screenwriter. Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, he grew up in Dallas, Texas. He holds a BA in English and Drama from Kenyon College and an MFA in Writing for the Screen and Stage from Northwestern University.

Arbery is known for his plays *Heroes of the Fourth Turning* (2019), a finalist for the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and recipient of the Whiting Award for Drama; *Plano*; and *Evanston Salt Costs Climbing*. He has received additional honours including Obie, New York Drama Critics Circle, and Lucille Lortel awards for playwriting.

In television, he wrote for the HBO series *Succession* (2018), co-writing the season four episode "Living+" with Georgia Pritchett, for which they shared a Writers Guild of America Award. He also served as supervising producer on the series *Irma Vep* (2022).
