William A. Elliott is an American production designer and art director. He began his career in the mid-1980s, working as an assistant art director before taking on lead roles. He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Art Direction for his work on *The Untouchables* (1987).

Elliott has contributed production design or art direction to numerous films, including *Rain Man* (1988), *Hot Shots!* (1991), *Ace Ventura: Pet Detective* (1994), *The Nutty Professor* (1996) and *Doctor Dolittle* (1998). Later credits include *Scary Movie 3* (2003), *Meet the Spartans* (2008) and *Texas Chainsaw 3D* (2013). He is the father of location manager Tyler Elliott.
