## Biography

William D. Gordon (also credited as William Douglas Gordon) was an American actor, writer, director and producer. He worked extensively in television from the 1950s onwards.

He wrote multiple episodes of *The Fugitive* (1963), including teleplays, and directed the episode 'A.P.B.'. He served as associate producer on 32 episodes of the series between 1964 and 1966. Gordon also wrote for *Alfred Hitchcock Presents*, *Bonanza*, *Ironside* and other series, and later contributed to *CHiPs* (1977) as a writer and story supervisor.

As an actor he appeared in guest roles on series including *Maverick* (1958), *The Twilight Zone* and *Riverboat*. He directed one episode of *The Richard Boone Show* and produced 47 episodes of *Twelve O'Clock High*.
