William Mace was a film and television editor whose credits include several 1950s features for 20th Century Fox. He edited *The Diary of Anne Frank* (1959), *The Bravados* (1958), *The Sun Also Rises* (1957) and *Boy on a Dolphin* (1957). Earlier he worked as assistant film editor on *How to Marry a Millionaire* (1953).

Mace's later career focused on television, where he edited episodes of series including *Adventures in Paradise* (1959–1961), *Combat!* (1962–1963) and *Breaking Point* (1963–1964). He received two nominations from the American Cinema Editors for his television work.
