## Biography

William Oswald is a British film and television editor. Born in Belfast in 1957, he graduated from Queen's University Belfast with a B.Sc. Honours in Computer Science. He trained as a film editor at BBC Wales from 1979, later working as an assistant editor there and at Granada Television until 1983. He co-founded post-production companies Teliesyn Ltd. and P.O.V. Ltd. in South Wales before becoming a freelance editor in 1996.

Oswald has edited numerous episodes of *Doctor Who* (2007–2017 and later), *Torchwood* (2009), and *Sherlock* (as Will Oswald). His other credits include *Good Omens* (2019) and *The Miracle Maker* (2000). He has won BAFTA Cymru awards for editing, including for *Torchwood: Children of Earth* and an episode of *Sherlock*.
