William Paul Dornisch was a film and television editor. His credits include *Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan* (1982) and the television film *The Day After* (1983), directed by Nicholas Meyer, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Film Editing for a Limited Series or a Special.

Earlier work includes serving as supervising editor on *Johnny Got His Gun* (1971) and editorial supervisor on *The Picasso Summer* (1969). He edited four episodes of the series *MacGyver* in 1988.

Dornisch was born on 24 March 1930 and died on 11 April 1997.
