William R. Stratton, also credited as Bill Stratton or William Stratton, was an American television writer. He contributed episodes to series including *The Rockford Files* (1977) and wrote extensively for *Hawaii Five-O* (1971–1978).

Stratton began his professional life in advertising as a copywriter before moving into television. He also wrote several television movies and created the pilot for the series *Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer*. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, in November 1930 and died on 20 August 2014.
