William Vail is an American set decorator and actor. Born on 30 November 1950 in San Antonio, Texas, he made his screen debut playing Kirk in the 1974 horror film *The Texas Chain Saw Massacre*.

Vail appeared in supporting roles in *Poltergeist* (1982), *Mausoleum* (1983) and *Glitch!* (1988). He later worked primarily as a set decorator on television films and series including *Too Young to Die?* (1990), *The Enemy Within* (1994), *Amish Grace* (2010), *The Craigslist Killer* (2011) and *Blue Lagoon: The Awakening* (2012).
