## Biography

Wolfgang Bodison is an American actor, director and writer. Born on 19 November 1966 in Washington, D.C., he graduated with a BFA from the University of Virginia in 1988.

Before acting, Bodison worked as a file clerk at Columbia Pictures and in the mail room at Castle Rock Entertainment. He served as Rob Reiner’s personal assistant on the 1990 film *Misery* and as location manager on *A Few Good Men* (1992). Reiner cast him, with no prior acting experience, as Lance Cpl. Harold W. Dawson in the latter after an impromptu audition.

Bodison has appeared in films including *Freeway* (1996) and *Akeelah and the Bee* (2006), and in television series such as *ER*, *Murder, She Wrote*, *CSI: Miami*, *Bones* and *Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.*. He has also directed and written several short films, including *The Long Wait* (2014) and *Sanvean* (2017).
