## Biography

Ximena Amann is a Mexican cinematographer. She studied at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Cinematográficas at UNAM and has collaborated with directors Astrid Rondero and Fernanda Valadez since film school.

Her credits include *Sujo* (2024) and *On the Road* (2025), the latter directed by David Pablos. She has also worked on television series such as *Demon* (2020) and *The Head of Joaquín Murrieta* (2023), as well as earlier short films which she directed.

Amann won the Feature Film Competition Award for Best Cinematography at the Morelia International Film Festival for *On the Road*. She received Ariel Award nominations for Best Cinematography for both *On the Road* and *Sujo*.
