## Biography

Yahlin Chang is a television writer and producer. She wrote four episodes of *ER* (1994) between 2002 and 2005, and also served as story editor, executive story editor and co-producer on the series. Her other writing credits include episodes of *Ed* (2000), *Dirty Sexy Money* (2007), *Pan Am* (2011), *Supergirl* (2015) and *The Handmaid's Tale* (2017).

Before entering television, Chang graduated from Yale University in 1994 and spent six years as a writer, reporter and cultural critic for the Arts and Entertainment section of *Newsweek* magazine. She has been an executive producer and co-showrunner on *The Handmaid's Tale*, for which she received a Humanitas Prize in 2020 and multiple Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
