## Biography

Yang Wei-han, also credited as Wei-han Yang, is a Taiwanese cinematographer. He graduated from Shih Hsin University and worked for the Central Motion Picture Corporation Studios. He has served as a judge for the Golden Horse Awards.

He is known for his work as director of photography on Edward Yang’s *Taipei Story* (1985) and *Yi Yi* (2000). In 1985 he shared the Best Cinematography award at the Asia-Pacific Film Festival for *Run Away*. He has received several Golden Horse Award nominations for best cinematography, including for *Taipei Story* (1985), *Hill of No Return* (1992), *The Moon Also Rises* (2005) and *The Most Distant Course* (2007).
