He is known for roles in the Godzilla series, appearing as the Prime Minister in *Godzilla vs. Biollante* (1989) and as the Army Chief in *Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah* (1991). Other credits include work in the Gamera films and voice acting in anime such as *Golden Boy* (1995).
