## Biography

Yo Oizumi is a Japanese actor, comedian, television personality and voice actor. Born on 3 April 1973 in Ebetsu, Hokkaido, he is a member of the theatrical unit Team Nacs and is represented by Creative Office Cue.

He began his career in 1995 while at university, debuting on the Hokkaido late-night programme *Mosaic Nights*. He first gained wider recognition through the regional television series *How Do You Like Wednesday?* and has since worked across television dramas, films and voice acting.

Oizumi is known for voice roles including Bandai Frog in *Spirited Away* (2001), Prince Justin / Turnip Head in *Howl's Moving Castle* (2004) and Professor Layton in *Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva* (2009). Live-action credits include Hideo Suzuki in *I Am a Hero* (2016), Shou Tucker in *Fullmetal Alchemist* (2017) and Kureo Mado in *Tokyo Ghoul* (2017). He has been married to drama producer Kumiko Nakajima since 2009.
