## Biography

Yōji Enokido is a Japanese screenwriter and novelist. Born on 27 September 1963 in Shiga, he graduated from Kyoto Arts Short-Term College. Before entering scriptwriting, he worked at Nippon Telenet Corporation on MSX personal computer communication services.

He contributed scripts to *Neon Genesis Evangelion* (1995) and has written for series including *Sailor Moon S* (1994–1995), *Sailor Moon SuperS* (1995–1996), *Revolutionary Girl Utena* (1997), *FLCL* (2000–2001), *Ouran High School Host Club* (2006), *Redline* (2009) and *Bungo Stray Dogs* (2016–). He also wrote a three-volume novelisation of *FLCL*, published in English between 2008 and 2009.
