## Biography

Yōko Honna is a Japanese voice actress and singer. She made her voice acting debut in 1991 as the young Taeko Okajima in the Studio Ghibli film *Only Yesterday* and rose to prominence with her lead role as Shizuku Tsukishima in the 1995 Ghibli feature *Whisper of the Heart*.

She has provided voices for numerous anime productions and films, including Chika in *The Cat Returns* (2002), Nagisa Misumi / Cure Black in the *Pretty Cure* series (from 2004), and roles in *xxxHOLiC* (2006), *Sword Art Online* (2012) and *My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission* (2021). Honna was formerly affiliated with 81 Produce and is currently with Re-Max.
