## Biography

Yoshito Yasuhara is a Japanese actor and voice actor. Born on 17 November 1949 in Aioi, Hyogo Prefecture, he is a member of the theatre troupe and talent agency Theatre Echo.

He has voiced numerous characters in anime, including Louis in *Castle in the Sky* (1986), Aoshi Shinomori in *Rurouni Kenshin* (1996), and roles in *Future Boy Conan* (1978), *The Rose of Versailles* (1979) and *Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise* (1987). He has also provided voices for later series such as *Cyberpunk: Edgerunners* (2022) and *The Apothecary Diaries* (2023).

Yasuhara is married to actress and voice actor Yuri Kimura. He is known for dubbing Western actors including Mickey Rourke, Kevin Bacon and Bill Murray into Japanese.
