Yoshiyasu Hamamura was a Japanese film editor and cinematographer. He worked as a director of photography on several films in the mid-1930s before becoming an editor.

He is best known for editing many films directed by Yasujirō Ozu, including *Late Spring* (1949), *Early Summer* (1951), *The Flavor of Green Tea Over Rice* (1952), *Tokyo Story* (1953), *Tokyo Twilight* (1957), *Equinox Flower* (1958), *Good Morning* (1959), *Late Autumn* (1960) and *An Autumn Afternoon* (1962). He also edited *Black River* (1957) and later films such as *The Shadow Within* (1970).
