## Biography

Yōsuke Natsuki (also credited as Yosuke Natsuki) was a Japanese actor. He was born on 27 February 1936 in Tokyo and died there on 14 January 2018.

He made his film debut in *The H-Man* (1958) and appeared as Kohei's Son in Akira Kurosawa's *Yojimbo* (1961). That year he received the Elan d'or Award for Newcomer of the Year. He worked extensively with Toho Studios on kaiju films including *Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster* (1964) as Detective Shindo and *The Return of Godzilla* (1984) as Professor Makoto Hayashida. Other notable roles include Zataki in the miniseries *Shōgun* (1980) and Odagiri in the television series *G-Men '75* (1975–1979). In the 1970s he joined Toshiro Mifune's production company.
