## Biography

Yumi Kamakura is a Japanese anime director and storyboard artist from Hokkaido. She began her career at Production I.G as a production assistant and contributed title design to the 2001 film *Sakura Taisen Katsudou Shashin*. Her directing debut came with an episode of *Kasumin* season 2 in 2002.

She has worked primarily with Production I.G and OLM. Kamakura made her series directorial debut with *Working!!!* in 2015 and has directed episodes or served as storyboard artist on series including *Haikyu!!* (2014), *Inazuma Eleven* (2008–2011), *Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin* (2018), *Inazuma Eleven: Orion no Kokuin* (2018–2019), *Ranking of Kings* (2021) and *The Grimm Variations* (2024). She has also directed *Santa Company* (2014) and episodes of *Working!!* (2010). Since 2008 she has also credited work under the name かまくらゆみ.
