Yvette Kaplan is an American animator, director and producer. Born in New York City on 26 June 1955, she studied at the School of Visual Arts before beginning her career in New York studios, working on commercials and independent projects.

She directed episodes of *Doug* (1991) and *Beavis and Butt-Head* (1993), serving as supervising director on the latter series. Kaplan was animation director on the feature *Beavis and Butt-Head Do America* (1996) and directed episodes of *King of the Hill* (1997). She was head of story on *Ice Age* (2002) and co-creator of the preschool series *Zack and Quack* (2012). Other credits include work on *Happily N'Ever After* (2007) and *Clarence* (2014).
