## Biography

Zac Gorman is an American writer, cartoonist and storyboard artist. He contributed as a writer to three episodes of the animated miniseries *Over the Garden Wall* (2014) and worked as a storyboard artist on one episode. He also wrote an episode of *Uncle Grandpa* (2015) and served as staff writer on the *Costume Quest* series (2019).

Gorman is from Michigan. He was the inaugural writer of the *Rick and Morty* comic series published by Oni Press and has written the middle-grade fantasy novels *Thisby Thestoop and the Black Mountain* (2018) and its sequel. He received an Emmy Award for his work on *Over the Garden Wall* and was nominated for an Annie Award for character design on *Welcome to the Wayne*.
