Zach Dean is an American screenwriter and film producer. Born in Traverse City, Michigan, he attended Interlochen Arts Academy and earned a master's degree in writing from New York University Tisch School of the Arts in 2005.

His screenwriting credits include *Deadfall* (2012), *24 Hours to Live* (2017), *The Tomorrow War* (2021), and the story for *Fast X* (2023). He wrote and produced *The Gorge* (2025), directed by Scott Derrickson.
