Zak Olkewicz is an American screenwriter and producer. Born on 19 December 1983 in Los Angeles County, California, he is the son of character actor Walter Olkewicz. He left high school to care for his father and later earned a perfect score on the GED examination. His early career included selling original spec screenplays such as *Ink & Bone* and *Elimination*.

Olkewicz received co-producer credit on the horror film *Lights Out* (2016). He wrote the screenplay for *Bullet Train* (2022) and contributed to the screenplay and story for *Fear Street: Part Two - 1978* (2021). He also wrote the screenplay for *The Last Voyage of the Demeter* (2023).
