Ocean's Eleven 2001Soderbergh’s remake is the most purely pleasurable thing he has made: a robbery staged as a dance, with Clooney and Pitt leading. There is nothing underneath it and Julia Roberts is wasted. We did not mind nearly as much as we expected to.Fi1m 80 - 2
Ocean's Twelve 2004Soderbergh’s sequel is handsome, loose and pleased with itself. The colour, the cutting and David Holmes’s score do real work; the story has been put in a drawer. Good company for an evening, if you can forgive it for knowing so.Fi1m 58 - 3
Ocean's Thirteen 2007Soderbergh’s third heist is the most relaxed of the three and the emptiest: handsome, quick, funny in patches, and played by men who have stopped pretending to be characters. It passes two hours pleasantly and does not survive a second thought.Fi1m 63
