Biography
George Preston is an astronomer who appears as himself in the 2010 documentary film Nostalgia for the Light, directed by Patricio Guzmán. In the film he is identified as a senior staff astronomer at the Observatories of the Carnegie Institution of Washington DC and a member of the US National Academy of Sciences.
