Biography
Luís Henríquez is a Chilean survivor of the Chacabuco concentration camp, where he was held from November 1973 to October 1974 during the Pinochet dictatorship. In the 2010 documentary Nostalgia for the Light, directed by Patricio Guzmán, he appears as himself and is referred to as the 'transmitter of history' for recounting how a group of around twenty prisoners secretly studied astronomy and constellations while imprisoned.
Henríquez has also appeared as himself in the 2022 television mini-series Los Sobrevivientes, Colonia Dignidad.
