Back to the Future
One trilogy, no remakes, a rare thing.
Which order? Release order, obviously.

Back to the Future 1985Robert Zemeckis makes time travel funny by sending a teenager straight into his parents’ awkward youth. We recommend it warmly, despite a slightly laboured opening: the plotting is exact and the performances make the cleverness feel easy.Fi1m 92 - 2
Back to the Future Part II 1989Inventive and funny, *Back to the Future Part II* is worth the effort of following its crowded plot. The visual jokes and lively cast compensate for hurried storytelling, though the time-travel explanations can become hard work.Fi1m 74
