Biography
Aaron Friesz is an Austrian actor. Born in Vienna in 1988, he trained as a cook and waiter before pursuing acting, with early stage experience at the Burgtheater's Junge Burg programme and later roles at the Volkstheater.
He is known for his performance as Crown Prince Rudolf in the 2022 film Corsage, Kovacs in Hinterland (2021), and Oberleutnant Riedl in the series Freud (2020). Friesz has appeared in other historical productions including Maria Theresia (2021) as Joseph II and the ensemble of Cops (2018), which received a Diagonale award.
