Biography
Aaron Helbing is an American screenwriter and television producer. He began his career in script and production roles, including as a writer's assistant on Carnivàle and script coordinator on Smallville, Brotherhood and Saved.
With his brother Todd Helbing, he co-wrote the Smallville episode 'Hero' (2008). The pair contributed to Spartacus (2010–2013), Mortal Kombat: Legacy (2011), Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn (2012) and The Flash (2014–2017), where they served as producers and writers. They parted ways as writing partners after the third season of The Flash.
Helbing has since worked as a writer and executive producer on projects including Black Sails (2015), Knightfall (2019), Superman & Lois (2021) and Spartacus: House of Ashur (2025).
